Abstract:
The numerical simulation is carried out of supersonic flow around rectangular cavity when its elastic bottom oscillations take place. The algorithm for numerical solution of aeroelasticity problem was elaborated and tested using kinetically consistent finite difference schemes. The influence is studied of high frequency elastic cavity bottom oscillations on flow nature (spectral characteristics of pressure pulsations). The affect of gas dynamic oscillations on elastic surface is simulated by the coupled solution of gas flow equations (including vortex
flows) and equations describing oscillations of elastic cavity bottom.
