Nonlinear finite-difference filters and high order schemes for aerodynamics

V. I. Pinchukov

Institute of Computing Technologies, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Abstract: The article is devoted to construction of artificial dissipation terms of addition type for high order schemes. Artificial dissipation is aimed to provide absence of oscillations and successful convergence in time. Two implicit schemes of third and fifth order in space coordinates for steady solutions are considered. The examples of calculations of discontinued inviscid flows and separated viscous flows near a body with front needle are presented.
