Metabolism in the symbiotic structures (applied to paramecium bursaria)

Yu. V. Barkhatov, V. G. Gubanov

Institute of Biophysics Siberian Branch of RAS
Abstract: We proposed the mathematical model for metabolism in infusorian Paramecium bursaria-chlorella symbiotic complex. The model is a system of differential equations including probability elements for cell division. Comparisons with experimental data were listing. The numerical analysis shows that symbiotic structures have advantage over other forms of interaction (for similar partners).
