A gas jet motion in an atmospheric air

M. G. Boyarshinov, A. V. Kharchenko

Perm State Technical University
Abstract: Moving of turbulent high-speed jet that is formed during a trial of a rocket drive working on liquid fuel is investigated. The large particles method is used to solve a system of gas dynamics equations. To analyze transfer and dispersion of a gas mixture the differential diffusion equation is factorized on uni-axial equations. Obtained one-dimensional equations are solved by finite-difference method. Results of computing that are carried out for two-dimensional and three-dimensional formulations of a mentioned problem are compared.
