Internal waves generated by turbulent wakes behind towed and self-propelled bodies in linearly stratified medium

Abstract: The results of numerical modelling of the internal waves dynamics generated by the wakes in a linearly stratified fluid have been presented. The calculation results show that the turbulent wake behind towed body generates the waves of essentially greater amplitude.
