Abstract: Thermal transitions have been determined for different ternary compositions of polylactide and poly-3-hydroxybutyrate with chitosan from their TGA and DSC data. The sorption capacity of the ternary mixtures for FeIII ion has been evaluated using the Langmuir model and found to increase with the chitosan content.
