Abstract:
Novel mixed trigonal-bipyramidal clusters [MRh4(η-C5H5)4(PPh3)(μ3-CO)2]+PF6–(M=Cu, Ag, Au) have been prepared by the reaction of Rh4(η-C5H5)(μ,3-CO)2 with [M(PPh3)]+ fragments, generated in situ in CH2CI2 from M(PPh3)Hal.
