Abstract: A novel type of hyper-crosslinked polystyrene resin has been used as a stationary phase in the high performance liquid chromatographic separation of phenol and its derivatives; a simplified procedure for their quantitative determination on a ppb level, based on preconcentration and separation using a single chromatographic column, is proposed.
