Abstract: Functional derivatives of iminonitroxides were prepared by introducing a functional group into the side chain of 1-hydroxy-2-methyl-2-imidazoline; a K+ salt and a Cu2+ bischelate with the first enaminoketone derivative of 2-iminonitroxide were synthesised and structurally characterised.
