Abstract: The ruthenium(II) complex (R4Pc)Ru(TED)2 {R4Pc2− is [4,5,4’,5’,4”,5”,4”’,5”’-tetrakis-(1,4,7,10,13-pentaoxatridecamethylene)- phthalocyaninate anion]; TED is triethylenediamine} with a coordinated tetra-15-crown-5- phthalocyaninate dianion and axiallyarranged triethylenediamine molecules has been synthesised and characterised.
