Abstract: The photochemistry of derivatives of 1-aryloxy-2(4)-benzoylamino-9,10-anthraquinones and 1-aryloxy(1-arylthio)-2-azido-9,10-anthraquinones in a solid phase differs from that upon irradiation in a benzene solution.
