Abstract: Novel polyalkoxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)coumarins – analogues of natural antimitotic compounds – were synthesized from plant allylpolyalkoxybenzenes and tested in vivo in the phenotypic sea urchin embryo assay for antiproliferative antitubulin activity.
