Synthesis of 2-hydroxymalonamides from Carbamoylsilane and A-keto Carboxamides

Abstract: Reaction between N,N-dimethylcarbamoylsilane and N,N-dimethyl-a-keto carboxamides affords 2-hydroxy-N,N,N’,N’-tetramethyl-2- R-malonamides in good yields.
