Abstract: Eu3+-doped holmium aluminum garnet (Ho3Al5O12, HoAG) has been synthesized by a solvothermal method and annealed at various temperatures. The X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed that single-phase HoAG was obtained already at 220°C.
