Abstract: The solid solutions Ti1 xMnxO2 x (0.003 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.016) with a 3D architecture of particles exhibiting high photocatalytic activity under both ultraviolet and visible irradiation have been synthesized using Ti1 xMnx(OCH2CH2O)2 x as a precursor.
