Synthesis of chiral nopinane annelated 3-methyl-1-aryl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridines by condensation of pinocarvone oxime with 1-aryl-1H-pyrazol-5-amines

Abstract: Chiral 1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridines fused with nopinane frame were obtained by FeCl3-catalyzed assembling of pinocarvone oxime and 1-aryl-1H-pyrazol-5-amines. Chemical structures of new compounds were solved by NMR spectroscopy and confirmed by quantum chemical calculations and X-ray crystallography.
