Abstract:
Aminomethylation of thiophosphorylated calix[4]resorcinol with formaldehyde and secondary amines affords the novel Mannich base derivatives possessing better solubility. The nickel complex of morpholinomethyl derivative exhibits a good catalytic activity in hydrogen evolution decreasing potential of direct acid reduction on glassy carbon electrode to 1.3V.
