Abstract: The knowledge of natural ecological system has the uncertainty of the data about its condition and functioning. Uncertainty has basic character on account of the complexity of the system. Mathematical models must consider this uncertainty in the used data, and in results. The corresponding modelling description is realized on an example of a eutrophic lake.
Key words: mathematical model, aquatic ecosystem, uncertainty, biomass dynamics, stability.
