Abstract:
Coding DNA sequences (CDSs) analysis of a few prokaryotic organisms has been done on a basis of spectral-statistical approach (2S-approach). It is shown that the CDSs are characterized by a special type of latent periodicity, called earlier a profile periodicity. To explain the latent profile periodicity existence in DNA sequences a model of Stochastic Homogeneous Organization of Coding (SHOC-model) in the textual strings is considered. This model explains the existence of latent triplet periodicity and regularity in the CDSs. Specific manifestations of the SHOC-model are demonstrated in the numerical experiments with binary re-encoded literary text.
