Estimating the Time of Crossing a High, Long and Arbitrary Bumpy Free Energy Barrier

Abstract:
This communication presents a simple but rather general analytical estimate of the characteristic time of crossing a long, high and arbitrary bumpy free energy barrier in a course of sequential chemical, biochemical or physical reaction.
