Analysis of structural defects in the CdSe$_{x}$S$_{1-x}$ nanocrystals

Abstract:
Spectral dependence of the absorption coefficient of the CdSe$_{x}$S$_{1-x}$ nanocrystals in silicate glass with different perfections of crystalline lattice is experimentally studied. A dependence of the concentration of defects on the time of thermal processing is obtained. It is demonstrated that the defect elimination results from thermal activation process.
