Photoemission of the K/W(100) system in the O$_{2}$ atmosphere
M. V. Knat'ko, M. N. Lapushkin Ioffe Institute, St. Petersburg
Abstract:
Simultaneous adsorption of potassium and oxygen on W(100) is studied using the threshold photoemission spectroscopy. A metal potassium film is formed on W(100) in the course of coadsorption of potassium and oxygen at the first stage. At the second stage, the film is transformed into a dielectric layer with the K$_{2}$O$_{2}$ stoichiometry.
