Abstract:
The paper reports on the results of simulations of output characteristics of silicon solar cells based on the amorphous silicon–crystalline silicon heterojunction. In addition, the prospect of utilizing high-efficiency bifacial silicon solar modules for various orientational configurations is evaluated. The evaluations are based on the geographical location of the city of Astana (Kazakhstan) located at 51.2$^\circ$ N and 71.4$^\circ$ E at an altitude of 354 m above the sea level.
