Abstract:
The properties of a complex formed by lutetium diphthalocyanine and silicon carbide nanoparticles are studied by optical methods. The phase composition of samples and the shape and size of silicon carbide nanoparticles are determined from electron microscopy data and X-ray diffraction analysis. Absorption spectra of a solution containing silicon carbide nanoparticles with lutetium diphthalocyanine suggest that a significant interaction occurs between the two. A drastic increase in the absorbance indicates that lutetium diphthalocyanine molecules are strongly adsorbed on the surface of silicon carbide nanoparticles.
