Abstract: A stochastic cellular automata (CA) model simulating pedestrian dynamics is presented. The obtained model simulates people movement from random style to directed. It provides an opportunity for pedestrian's environment analysis and realization of “patient people” strategy. A regular evacuation process is reproduced and investigated by means of the presented model.
Keywords: cellular automata, transition probabilities, pedestrian dynamics modelling.
