Propagation of the Lamb and $SH$-waves in piezoelectric cubic crystal's plate

Abstract:
A technique of derivation of dispersive equations for computing the velocity of Lamb and $SH$-waves in an isotropic media and piezoelectric crystals has been considered. The $E$-influence on the properties of the Lamb and $SH$-waves propagating in a piezoelectric $Bi_{12}GeO_{20}$ crystal plate has been investigated. The effect of hybridization of acoustic waves of various types is studied. The analytical and numerical results obtained in the paper can be useful for the design of acoustic devices and research of other practically important effects.
