Characterization of condensations of $\sigma$-compact locally compact groups and applications to invariant measures

Abstract: We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for existence on a topological group of a stronger $\sigma$-compact locally compact topology. An application of the obtained result for measurable topological group with an invariant measure are given.
