Transition radiation on a thin lens

Abstract: Transition radiation of a relativistic charged particle intersecting a thin biconvex lens has been analyzed. The trajectory of the uniformly moving particle coincides with the optical axis of the lens. The intensity of the transition radiation in the focal plane of the lens has been estimated.
