Broadband blooming of a medium modified by an incorporated layer of nanocavities

Abstract:
The optical properties of a dielectric medium with the ordered distribution of nanopores in the surface layer have been investigated. It has been shown that the presence of a single layer of nanocavities near the medium-vacuum interface can increase the transparency of the medium to values close to 100% in a wide wavelength range.
