Abstract: The spin pumping in YIG/Pt structures by surface and backward volume magnetostatic waves has been studied experimentally. It has been shown that the efficiency of the generation of the spin current increases at frequencies of spin waves corresponding to van Hove singularities in the density of states. The results of this work are important for the development of magnon spintronics devices.
