Abstract:
The spin pumping effect has been actively studied in various heterostructures over the past 20 years. We have developed the model of spin pumping based on classical diffusion and Landau–Lifshitz equations that explicitly involves the case of the metallic ferromagnetic and also interface spin relaxation. Within this model we have obtained explicit expressions for the spin mixing conductance and nonequilibrium magnetization in the bulk of the ferromagnetic layer. The model also allowed us to describe the effect of self-induced inverse spin Hall effect that was recently observed in the series of experiments.
