Abstract:
The lifetime of the excited state of new NaGdF4:Eu solid solutions in dimethyl sulfoxide suspensions is determined using the Judd–Ofelt theory. A comparative analysis of the experimental and theoretical values of the lifetime of the excited state of NaGdF4:Eu solid solutions has shown that the Judd–Ofelt model adequately describes the photophysical processes in the studied substances.
