Abstract:
Plasmon-polaritons in thin gold nanoslit gratings with a fixed period and a variable filling factor are studied using micro-spectroscopy measurements and finite-difference time-domain simulations. The regimes of surface plasmon-polaritons, localized plasmons and the mixed mode are identified.
