Abstract:
The features characterizing the behavior of magnetotransmission in Hg$_{1-x}$Cd$_{x}$Cr$_{2}$Se$_{4}$ single crystals are studied using natural light in the infrared spectral range. The relation between the changes in the magneto-optical properties and in the electron band structure is found. It is shown that the most significant changes in the magnetotransmission spectrum and the band structure occur within the $0.1<x<0.25$ range.
