Abstract: Exact solutions for the classical Wess-Zumino-Novikov-Witten model are constructed by the matrix Darboux transformation method. The behavior of one- and two-soliton solutions is analyzed. The formula for an N-soliton solution is given. The corresponding linearized problem is considered.
