Abstract:
The double-layer Dy1−xNix/Ni structures have been studied in situ in an ultrahigh-vacuum chamber by the original technique using the surface meridional Kerr effect directly in the course of deposition. It has been shown that a layer of Dy1−xNix alloy is ferromagnetically ordered at room temperature.
