Analog of the Migdal–Kohn singularity in the polariton spectrum of a two-dimensional crystal

Abstract:
It is shown that, in a two-dimensional crystal, the radiative polariton branch with an anomalously large radiative width (superradiance) exhibits an analog of the Migdal–Kohn singularity in the phase space at the point of joining with the discovered additional branch.
