The concept of the multi-agent monitoring system of
"smart city"

Abstract:
In the paper the topical issues devoted to development and application of modern systems of the
automated environmental monitoring of megalopolis are considered. On the example of the critical
analysis of the operating system of environmental monitoring of Moscow essential shortcomings of similar
systems are revealed and the main objectives and the directions of their modernization are defined. The
multi-agent technology ecological mapping of megalopolis including mobile objects of city public land
transport, cars of large city taxi pools, vehicle fleet of car-sharing services is offered. In the conditions of
lack of necessary basic infrastructure for ensuring communication it is offered to apply self-organizing
data transmission networks.
