Abstract:
This work demonstrates methods for characterizing polycapillary lenses. In the high energy region there is a difference in results and measurements obtained by different methods. Therefore, a combination of different methods is required to fully characterize the optics. The polycapillary lens used in this work is free of the “halo-effect” and, as a result, is suitable for micro-XRF of heavy elements. It has been demonstrated that measuring the two-dimensional distribution of elements is possible in a reasonable time.
