Abstract:
Influence of geomorphological conditions of territory on seismic intensity on data of macroseismic
exploration of consequences of strong earthquakes is well known; at the same time relief influence is
usually not considered adequately in building codes. New empirical formulae for seismic intensity estimation based on digital elevation models (DEM) are proposed in this work.
