Study of spectral characteristics of solid solutions (Y$_{1-x}$Yb$_x$)$_3$Al$_5$O$_{12}$ with laser excitation

Abstract:
The authors researched the luminescence properties of the solid solutions
(Y$_{1-x}$Yb$_x$)$_3$Al$_5$O$_{12}$, set the intensity of the Stokes IR luminescence in the range of 0.96–1.1 microns, the
concentration of Yb$^{3+}$ ions in the laser excitation wavelength of 0.94–0.98 microns. The optimal composition of the phosphor (Y$_{1-x}$Yb$_x$)$_3$Al$_5$O$_{12}$ is determined.
