Internet of agents: new paradigm of self-organization
for Internet of Things applications
V. I. Gorodetsky St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 199178, St. Petersburg, 39, 14-th Liniya
Abstract:
The paper justifies advantages of IoA framework for IoT applications, presents, for the latter, IoA-based formal model illustrated with a number of modern practically important applications. The paper
proposes architecture of a software-communication infrastructure constituting a common agent
environment that supports agent interactions within common information space thus transforming the
agent set into a single whole represented as a networked object. The paper also outlines the set of basic
services that the infrastructure has to provide for the agents in various use cases and justifies feasibility of
the proposed infrastructure for IoA framework as applied to IoT applications.
