Abstract:
The article is devoted to one of the perspective directions of fiber optics-microstructured optical fibers. Based on the analysis of works published by various scientific groups over the past twenty-odd years, an
attempt has been made to classify microstructured optical fibers known to date, taking into account both
features of geometry and basic optical properties.
