Abstract:
The paper reviews current research and development in the field of speech understanding systems. The authors have shown major Russian and international laboratories working on this topic, identified promising areas of synthesis of traditional and new approaches, in particular, the approach to the development of speech understanding systems based on multi-agent recursive cognitive architectures to combine the design possibilities of the formal presentation of natural language utterances some of the most well-known paradigms.
