Application of supercomputer computing systems for solving the volumetric singular integral equation of the diffraction problem on a dielectric body

Abstract:
The paper considers the problem of diffraction of an external electromagnetic field on a locally inhomogeneous body placed in free space. The problem is reduced to a three-dimensional singular integral equation. The problem is solved using the Galerkin numerical method. Due to the large capacity, the program for solving the problem is executed on a supercomputer computing complex. An algorithm for distributing calculations for running on multiple processors is proposed. The features of the task execution on a supercomputer complex are investigated.
