Application of GRID technologies for solving a volumetric singular integral equation for the problem of diffraction on a dielectric body by the subierarchical method

Abstract:
The paper considers the problem of diffraction of an external electromagnetic field on a locally inhomogeneous body placed in free space. The problem is reduced to a three-dimensional singular integral equation. The solution of the problem is carried out by the Galerkin numerical method. The justification of the proposed method is made. Due to the large capacity of the task, the use of GRID technologies is proposed to solve it.
