Numerical simulation of ethane pyrolysis by an explicit method of the third order of accuracy

E. A. Novikov

Institute of computational modeling of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Krasnoyarsk
References:
Abstract: Coefficients of explicit three-stage Runge - Kutta method have been obtained. The inequalities for exactness of calculations control and stability control of numerical scheme have been developed. Result numerical modeling of ethane pyrolysis demonstrate an efficiency increase with an additional stability control.
Keywords: stiff problem, explicit method, control accuracy and stability, pyrolysis of ethane.
