Abstract: The article considers the inverse problem of electromagnetic waves - the determination of permittivity of multi-sectional diaphragm, enclosed in a waveguide with perfectly conducting boundary surface. The author has developed recurrent methods of solving direct and inverse problems. Based on the developed recurrent methods the researcher has built mathematical models for two- and three-sectional diaphragm.
Keywords: inverse problem of electromagnetic waves, effective permittivity, differential equations, recurrent method.
