Abstract:
The authors have developed a model of gas-liquid mixture for investigating strong shock waves (SW) in bubble medium. In order to reliably describe thermodynamic properties of bubble liquid under SW conditions it has been suggested to use a wide range equation of water and steam state analytically. The researchers have compared the experiments for SW with amplitude of pressure $p_1=2,4$ MPa in water with nitrogen bubbles with initial gas content $\alpha_{20}=4\%$ and analyzed the processes of propagation and reflection of shock waves from solid wall with changes from $0,5$ to $6\%$ and SW amplitude changes from $2$ to $100$ MPa.
