Abstract:
The effects of the influence of an external longitudinal electric field on the optical properties of quantum wires with an impurity band formed by the localized states of an electron in the regular chain of $D^0$-centers along the wire axis have been theoretically investigated in the framework of a generalized version of the Kronig - Penney model.
Keywords:
quantum wire, impurity band, regular chain of $D^0$-centers, longitudinal electric field, photoionization spectra, interferencial oscillations.
